26th May-1st June

Ghyll Head is pleased to offer a week of caving based in Clapham, Yorkshire, exploring the caves of the Dales.

Cost £150 young person      £200 adult

Journey into a hidden world with huge chambers, stalagmites, stalactites, gour pools, fossils, stream passages, and vertical pitches. You will climb waterfalls, abseil and crawl through the caves.

The week will start with a gentle introduction to caving followed by some surface training of S.R.T (single rope technique) skills that are needed for exploration into Yorkshire Potholes. You will then be able to go down some of the deepest caves in the country. The course is aimed at all abilities from year 9 to adults, with an interest in caving.

Ghyll Head will provide all specialist equipment and the course fees cover instruction, food, bunkhouse accommodation and transport.
